I always wanted to ask this, but was too afraid to ask: what is the properties of Lope’s orb? Is it detachable, or does it naturally develop like a rattlesnake’s rattle? Is it transparent or is it like a mirror marble? I ask this in the one page where it isn’t in any frames.
Initially, before it was even named “lope,” i imagined the entire tail part could be absorbed inside the ball and that it would become larger, with no practical function. possibly like http://bimshwel.com/ipe/shearsd.png except with just one.
It is supposed to be clear but light can also reflect off of it, similar to glass, but i do not think it would break as easily. I do not know where it came from. The very earliest pre-unnamed lope was a ripoff of dratini from pokemon but with legs and I believe those also have a shiny ball at the end. I did not consider the reason for that, I simply copied it and never got around to uncopying it.
Thanks for the answer. Never would had guessed a poke-u-mon helped conjure lope. I had to look up the dragon-typed to remember what it was.
