Good news is that i am getting better at tablet usage. Some less good news is that this really looks like somebody used a tablet for it.
No more bar scenes, thankfully, except for a brief optional interlude a few pages on. It appears I have totally given up trying to create convincing interiors. I tried to make manga action lines, repeatedly. It is not my fate to accomplish that.
If I am getting closer to developing a system through which I know precisely how much space I need to allocate for each element for the best effect, it is not evident here. I really should not try and force so many figures into such small spaces and then try and give them all lines to say.
All my focal characters are invariably surrounded by little people that they can toss around when they get mad. Some of those may be muppets and not gnomes.

Ah, an exciting chase scene! We haven’t had one of these, since…actually, I don’t think we’ve had one yet. It’s good to see it proceed in a suitably ridiculous manner. This is certainly one of the more entertaining pages since the hospital evacuation.
It’s also interesting to see Elpse has some capacity for self-deprecation. Or at least realistic expectations concerning how circumstances are likely to proceed.

I don’t think this will be exciting, but before doing it I didn’t think it would be interesting at all (especially after some late stage rethinking of the “imps vs gnomes” concept in which I decided it was not). I only did it to follow-up on the Fringo situation because otherwise that introduction would have been pointless. Well also for the lope being pathetic at the counter scene. So that’s good that it has worked out better. Thank you for the positivity

Elpse is glad to have landed a hit and gotten away with it, temporarily forgetting the hit it had just received. Indeed I initially wrote a line like “that’s the first clean hit I’ve had in 40 pages” because I forgot this one wasn’t at all clean and that this sort of awareness of being a cartoon character is amusing in very limited doses. elpse may just like hitting last.
committee: I had hoped to make it clear from my link-accompanying verbiage that I am not proud of any of this! If the dumb imps are anything like me they wouldn’t have any taste for that stuff anyhow. However I have often maintained that I have little in common with them and that they are scumbags, and so by depriving them of it I perhaps punish them, and I say they deserve it.
