   I am surprised they changed the style of the birds for the “big movie” even though they seemed quite capable of portraying the birds as bouncing limbless creatures in the dozens of cartoon shorts they have previously created based on the game.

   When they needed to lift or hold something, it would just float near them touching their side where one would assume limbs to be or be balanced on their head. It made sense in the context of the game and cartoon as you never see creatures with limbs, you only see birds or pigs.

   I am confident that when preparing a topic for a computer generated 3d film it is necessary to make every possible decision against aesthetic function, especially if one of the characters is voiced by Josh Gad.

   when I saw “THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE” announced, I came to the conclusion that a group of hard-nosed hollywood executives had all been sitting around the table saying: “the time for maximizing profit margin and minimizing risk has passed. now, we must fulfill our destiny. how do we create a film that will cause the maximum instincitive cringe among the world’s entire population?”
