   I was about to say it’s okay to not wear a jacket when standing in the sun because it gets really hot, but then I remembered he’s probably cold-blooded and trying to trap body heat as a lizard is a fruitless enterprise.
   But still, this kind of note invasion wouldn’t happen if he were properly hatted, would it?

   I have sometimes thought this creature was more amphibious than reptilian, but both are likely equally implausible. Whatever it is, it is probably unsuited for existence in most places.
   The usual hat was on vacation last week. This replacement hat was fulfilling a community service obligation. It still should demand its money back.
