Somebody evidently called Cody whose primary online presence that I am aware of is tumbly seemed to want, for a reason I could not discern, a picture of the imp Topaglior, the dope ripoff I ripped off for the illustrations for the text to a baffling “play” I “wrote” in 2004. So I drew six instead. Even more baffling is that I posted them here. They are not doing anything of consequence. Neither am I. I hope that they feel welcome.

Did your client specifically request that Topaglior be in various states of undress in the image? Does there by any chance exist an elaborate backstory for each Topaglior variant?

Thankfully not. However the most distinct aspect of topaglior, I thought, was the mis-equipped sweater, and thus we have more clothing errors. Apart from that I was not looking to put in much thought.
Initially the requester had approached me on the topic of one of my low tier $5 hired drawings, which are small, like any of these would be individually. When he asked for a Topaglior I felt bad and refused to charge money. Or I might have refused to charge first, and then he felt guilty and asked for something that wouldn’t take much effort. The person also implied that he meant to use the picture as a “reference” for something so it suits that to have a few, though that was probably a joke that I missed. I have not been thinking well lately.
