this might be a tad exaggerated. I worry that I ruin these sort of editorial “comic strips” sometimes by trying to have them make sense so this is fairly similar to the initial concept, but there are other ways I can also ruin them.

I don’t find this exaggerated or ruined, I feel the same way about all this bandwagon marketing mentality.
Besides, I only really like Dark Forces and X-Wing: Alliance anyhow.
Oh, and also Star Wars: Force Commander, everyone hates that game but I like it for some bizarre inexplicable reason.
