page 2 of part 4 of that
yes i DID post page 1 almost a year ago and then nothing after that but i had every intention of continuing; this part here was already sketched. i DO know what will happen next but have not sketched THAT and am yet uncertain if it will continue to have three-row pages or if i will revert to not being able to handle 4 once i no longer need to depict 8 characters in the same panel for a while.
Some crucial details like the hat rack and sky swirls remain to be filled in but you know how i am with the appearance of one update per week even if most of it legally occurs the next day. Sunday tends to be busier than i expect since it is everyone else’s day off so they treat it like my day off, too. no! i have IMPORTANT imaginary deadlines to keep! I will update this again once it is the proper update. Unless I already did!

i was indecisive about the final frame since it took me two years to bother finishing the sketch since I can’t draw like this very well, and it seemed like the police state object of exaggerated bogeyness is now bullets of dubious origin with mysterious writing of dubious authenticity. ALTHOUGH maybe you can’t actually tell that is what this is here since I made the edit so hackily.

However the issue is mostly mootly since Blue Bloods was apparently cancelled in 2024 and most people i have access to have never heard of blue bloods to begin with, since they didn’t have sickly/elderly parents who just watch basic cable reruns of syndicated garbage all day in the mid 2010s and people who ARE that or share its mindset aren’t watching my art pages, at least not at this point, except for the purposes of trying to determine my own weaknesses and intermittently sending what they consider examples of it at me. However my real weakness is that i talk about my weaknesses too much. Nobody would know if I didn’t tell, and I get nothing out of telling, yet i continue to do so.

the fellow in the distance, presumably his weakness is hats

it often talks too much for its own good but it thinks too much about completely worthless topics for anyone’s good also

We “should” not be scared at all. We PERHAPS should refuse to give money to whatever uses it and otherwise live our lives like it doesn’t exist, because it doesn’t. It has a specific, if terribly generic appearance and stupid name, as unlike “normal” uninvited ainterference, it WANTS us to recognize its interference and choose to have it, so we can easily not do that.
I hate when [typically, jerky] persons see and respond to this trash like “this must be how horse breeders felt when cars came along lol cope, luddite.” No, it is not like that, because automobile manufacturers didn’t spend billions of dollars trying to fabricate a device that looks like a horse and the catastrophic environmental impact of automobiles took decades to manifest, while the catastrophic environmental impact of generative artificial intelligence we knew about before this happened. Yes you save a few days of filming because your “star” is a digital puppet but it eats an entire coal power plant for every minute of video so you haven’t saved a ding dang thing.
Additionally, motorized transportation actually does stuff that horses can’t and has the capacity to improve life for some people, and its negative environmental impact and inefficiency can be reduced. That impact only is NOT reduced because of the same sort of shortsighted, unimaginative greedy slimeballs who want ai actors. Meapwhile “ai actors” will only waste more resources and inconvenience more people, a few of them even actual actors, if more of this is used. The only person who benefits is the aspiring pharaoh the top of the pyramid who, trusting in AI information sources, possibly thinks pyramids were thrones for pharaohs rather than where their dead bodies were hidden until they could be looted and displayed in a museum centuries later.
I don’t even care about the cults of actual boring conventionally pretty celebrities unless they massively screw up. Why should I pay attention to a fake one pretending to be real, that can’t screw up in an organic fashion? This is thankfully someone else’s problem for now. Until my niece’s friends get her watching it and she brings it into my house, like every other obnoxious target-marketed thing I have had to endure excess awareness of the past decade, but she also binge watched “finger family” videos, and sometimes even just hands opening up plastic eggs and fiddling with slime. I could imagine ai-actors being massively viewed by people with no taste and who simply watch WHATEVER the ai-video sorter conspires to send at them, but getting viewers to PAY to watch one is entirely different. You might get business from some “own the libs” sorts who go to chick fil-a exclusively out of spite for marginalized groups that Chick Fila funds further marginalization of, but Chick Fila does, perhaps surprisingly, have customers outside that range also since it sells a product at least as appealing as those offered by others in the wasteful no-longer-cheap, no-longer-fast food business, and Chick Fila also doesn’t, generally, advertise based on its anti-humanity component.
this thing, it will never have a “difficult” opinion, it will never complain about sexual harassment, it will never say no. That appeals to sleazebag producers–

and apparently appeals to a strange subset of sleazebag viewers who aren’t necessarily ai themselves– but actually mixing it in with real actors, even ones with no taste or who just need money so badly that they will be second to it, is more difficult. It thus requires a full cast of fake actors, and I think if that cast already existed they would have debuted together rather than this being announced however this was. ideally that means money is running out for whatever is funding this and it is badly needing for further investment sooner than expected. rumor has it that other ai-masses-of-pixels interact with it in this video i refuse to watch but if they haven’t been given names then they probably aren’t finished yet.

and who the heck is this guy? none of the text on the article explains who he is. This is the artificial human I am scared of. Since Silly Borwood doesn’t exist it can’t actually profit from being terrible but this sleazo sure can. He probably hired/generated whatever shill wrote that “virgin onscreen” rubbish.

I sure am and that has not contributed to my suitability for screen appearances.
